Murder of headmaster: Police grab final suspect

- Evans Aboagye, the final suspect in the case of the murdered headmaster, George Somuah Bosompem, has been arrested

- He was picked up from his hideout at about 8pm and is in police custody

Police officials have grabbed the final suspect in the case of the murder of the headmaster of the Salvation Army Basic School at Asiakwa, George Somuah Bosompem.

YEN.com.gh understands that Evans Aboagye, aged 18 years, was picked up from his hideout at about 8pm, and is currently detained in custody.

The suspects beat up Bosompem, who doubles as the Religious & Moral Education teacher, to death.

Four of the six suspects arrested so far have been facing trial at the Kibi District Magistrate Court for conspiracy to commit murder and murder.

Per a report by 3news.com, their names are Richard Anani, Emmanuel Mireku, Philip Okodie and Paul Boadu.

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service arrested the fifth suspect in Accra.

Hezekiel Boadu is said to have hinted the police of the complicity of Evans Aboagye, also known as Otorgo.

The Kibi District Police Commander, Superintendent Magnus Reindolf Sam, on Thursday, May 9, 2019, revealed that an autopsy report would determine what exactly killed the deceased.
