Ghanaians explain why people with good hearts don't get good relationships

A lot of people who think of themselves as good or who others perceive as good, do not have the best of romantic relationships and YEN.com.gh asked Ghanaians why this is the case.

A lot of times, people feel that the universe handed them bad relationships even though they think of themselves as very good people.

This particular feeling is just an aspect of the oft-asked existential question, "why do bad things happen to good people?"

YEN.com.gh in a bid to find out why, asked Ghanaians for answers via Facebook.

Many people who responded to the question felt they knew why things go as they do.

Aidoo Nancy wrote: "Some people are just their own enemies,they create a problem and expect goodies,example:you can never give out lemon juice and I expect a mango juice in return

Kabtwo Real Kabtwo was not entirely sure that good-hearted had it worse. The user wrote: "Is not true,they lack patience and because they are good they fall for wrong people with emotional attachment they think is love, because of their good heart.they are nice to everyone so they think everyone should be good to them back .if you think you are a kind hearted person continue to show love to everyone but as for true love relationship be patient cos your love is coming to blow your mind."

Others chose the platform to lament their own bad luck in matters of the heart.

Eazzy Bilson reasponded: " Say it again oooo I'm not lucky when it comes to love and matters of the heart".

However, quite a few people were skeptical of the premise of the question. Marian Adu-Amankwah added: "Who told you, good people get good things only pray and ask God for guidance that's all."

Overall, most people agreed to the feeling channeled by the question.
