Many incidences going on in the world in recent times makes it seem like women are not even safe and are victims in their own environment.
A South African lady, Phumelele Dlamini, has taken to Twitter to share her plight after she was fired from her company after reporting a case of sexual harassment from one of her colleagues.
After reporting the case, all the directors reportedly heard about it and some of her other colleagues also attested to the culprit’s sexual harassment.

However, the culprit happens to be the head of a department as well as the go-to guy for all ‘CCMA cases for the entire group’. This meant that he was an asset to the company.
Dlamini recalled that even her husband had advised her against reporting the colleague because it was a multinational company and she would never win the case. He however promised to stand by whatever decision she made.
After reporting the case, the company reportedly told Dlamini to let them deal with it internally and for her not to speak about it to external bodies.

Dlamini eventually reported to external bodies after she was advised to by her boss at the time. Immediately she did, she was suspended and was escorted out of the company by their head of security; she was also eventually fired on claims that she spread malicious lies against a colleague.
The heartbroken lady revealed that she was left jobless, broke, depressed and worthless seeing as she was also unable to get another job due to the negative recommendations her former employers gave her.
