Veteran Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Armah has tried to speak for the first time after suffering a stroke for about two years now.
Whoever watched the actor in his hay days is likely to shed tears seeing how he struggled to speak in the video.
He sounded like a young child who was now learning to speak.
Armah was speaking with a journalist who was interviewing him about his past as an actor, but he could barely express himself as he would want to.
When asked to mention some of the cast he starred with in his first and popular movie in the 90s, Expectation, Armah could not speak well.
The veteran actor called on Ghanaians to pray for him to get well because his condition was not getting any better.
He also expressed the desire to get back on set again because his passion for acting was still alive.
Please fast-forward to the 9th minute to watch Armah speak.
He has been down with stroke for about two years.
Emmanuel Armah was acting back then with the likes of Grace Nortey, Grace Omaboe, also called Maame Dokono, David Dontoh, the late George Willams, McJordan Amartey, just to mention a few.
Meanwhile, actor William Addo has also called on President Akufo-Addo to help save his eyesight.
He is suffering from a combination of cataract and glaucoma and on the verge of going completely blind.
