Lydia Forson exposes fake people claiming to be living better lives on social media

- Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson says a lot of people are faking to live a certain type of lifestyle on social media just to make other people believe that they are rich

- Lydia Forson said most of the time when the real lives of such people are compared to the picture they paint on social media, it becomes clear that it does not add up

- She urged people who engage in such practices to stop and rather put their resources into making something for themselves

Outspoken Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has disclosed that a lot of people are living fake lives on social media just to paint a certain picture about themselves.

Lydia Forson who seemed concern about the situation said most of the time when the real lives of such people are compared to the picture they paint on social media, it becomes clear that it does not add up.

In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, the award-winning actress said so many people spend money, time and energy trying to look “successful” on social media but in actual fact, they cannot even afford gari.

"Social media.So many people spend money,time and energy trying to look “successful” on social media; but they can’t afford Gari...Imagine if you actually put those resources into making something of yourself. You’d rather “look” rich than be rich??" she quizzed.

She added that most of the things people display on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook among others are not what they are in real life.

She urged people who channel their resources trying to be successful online, to rather direct those resources into doing something better for themselves.

Reasons for canceling the event is not immediately known but lots of her fans have attributed this development to the news of the breakup between Fella and her rapper boyfriend, Medikal

Rumors of their breakup went viral on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, when Fella Makafui deleted all photos of Medikal on her Instagram page and unfollowed him as well.
