Facebook's second in command Sheryl Sandberg engaged to fiance at 51

- Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg congratulated the couple and wished them well
- Sandberg is 51, while the fiance, Tom is 49

2020 seems to have stated quite well for Facebook's number two, Chief Operating Officer(COO) Sheryl Sandberg.
This can be corroborated by her fiance's recent move to go down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.

News of the engagement first became public after Sandberg announced it through her official Facebook account on Monday, January 3.
In a short but sweet post seen by TUKO.co.ke, the 51-year-old Facebook boss gushed over her fiance Tom Bernthal and expressed how much in love she is with her man.
“Engaged!!! Tom Bernthal, you are my everything. I could not love you more,” Sandberg wrote.
In a quick rejoinder, Tom, 49, revealed how he could not wait to spend the rest of his life with the COO.
“Sheryl Sandberg, I love you so much and couldn’t be more excited about spending the rest of our lives together.” he wrote.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg joined in and wished the couple well even when they take things a notch higher.
“Congrats! You’re wonderful for each other and I’m so happy for both of you.” Mark wrote.
Sandberg's engagement comes about five years after the death her husband, Dave Goldberg, the chief executive of Survey Monkey.
Goldberg died after collapsing at a gym while the couple were on holiday in 2015, leaving her with two young children.

On the other hand, Tom, Sandberg's fiance has three from his previous relationship.
It is imperative to note that Tom is the founder of a Los Angeles-based strategic consulting agency known as Kelton Global.
Before Kelton Global, Tom worked for NBC News, where he was an Emmy Award-winning television producer.
He is a brother of Jon Bernthal, the actor who played the role of the Punisher in Netflix’s series “Daredevil” and Shane Walsh in the series “The Walking Dead.”.
