Beautiful photos from Akwasi Agyeman’s funeral surface online

The final funeral rites for the former Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Barima Akwasi Agyeman popularly known as ‘Okumkom’ happened on Monday, February 24, 2020.

He was laid to rest at the Breman Royal Mausoleum in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The funeral was attended by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, former presidents, Jerry John Rawlings, Joh Agyekum Kufuor and John Mahama.

Also present at the burial ceremony were politicians from both the camps of NPP and NDC.

The Special Guest of honor for the day was Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Dr. Bawumia described the late Mayor as someone who contributed immensely to the development of Kumasi and Ghana at large.

The late Nana Akwasi Agyeman passed on the January 14, 2020 at Kumasi.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a new photo of the son of actor John Dumelo, called Dumelo Junior Selator, shows that he is a big boy.

The boy was captured twinning with his father in the photo while he was being helped to walk to his car. The actor captioned the photo and wrote that it is good to give thanks for everything.
