George Floyd's 6-year-old daughter receives full scholarship to Texas Southern University

The 6-year-old daughter of George Floyd who passed on while a white police officer kneeled on his neck until he stopped breathing has received university scholarship.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook handle of the Texas Southern University, it was categorically stated that the university has decided to honour the memory of George Floyd with the gesture.

On the day George Floyd was laid to rest, Texas Southern University announced it would give a full scholarship. "TSU's Board of Regents, with its foundation board, has approved a fund to provide a full scholarship for Floyd's beloved daughter, Gianna," the statement said.

The Board, in conjunction with the TSU Foundation Board, approved the fund to provide a full scholarship for 6-year-old Gianna.

TSU’s executive and academic staff are therefore poised to prepare a place for young Floyd on the condition that she wishes to attend the renowned university.

Edition.cnn.com reports that on the day George Floyd was laid to rest, Texas Southern University announced it would give a full scholarship to the 6-year-old and the follow-up post on TSU's official Facebook handle proves they have fully committed to that course.

Meanwhile, a beautiful young lady named Ono has set Twitter on fire with her breathtaking looks after graduating as a neuroscientist which is a remarkable feat by all standards imaginable.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, the proud and accomplished black lady took different poses with different costumes, which were all amazing, to say the least.

Along with the photos, Ono added the mind-boggling statement, "Now I could let these dream killers kill my self-esteem or use my arrogance as the steam to power my dreams".
