Another accident has been recorded on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

The accident involved a 60-seater bus, which, according to reports, was heading toward Bawku in the Upper East Region.

The bus with registration number AS 1557-17, reportedly caught fire at Pinamisa, a farming community in the Bono East Region.

Fortunately, the passengers onboard the bus managed to escape and no casualty was recorded.

The passengers, as reported by Mynewsgh.com, used emergency exits while some broke the side window shield to escape.

It was after they all got off the bus that the whole engulfed the whole vehicle.

This happens to be the third accident on that stretch of road in recent times.

YEN.com.gh reported how 20 people sadly lost their lives while travelling on that road.

Earlier, another report of how eight people also died in another gory accident on that same stretch was made.

Ghanaian prophet Oduro Gyebi, popularly called Eagle prophet claimed that Kintampo is Ghana’s headquarters for witches and that is why accidents happen there.
