For most children, a birthday is the highlight of the year and they count down the days well in advance.

Emma Paternoster's sixth birthday was on the horizon, but she would be forced to celebrate without festivities or friends due to the lockdown in the United States.

Jodan Price has never met Emma previously, but learnt that it was her birthday.

Determined to make the day special, Jodan drove to a Dairy Queen store and purchased four ice-cream cupcakes.

He handed the sweet treat to her on her birthday and the magical moment was caught on camera.

Emma's mother, Liz, couldn't thank Jodan properly initially and tried valiantly to track him down.

Without any luck, she took to Twitter to share the short video clip and the Good Samaritan was eventually identified.

YEN.com.gh learnt that Jodan's son, Austin, recognised his dad in the video and Liz was then able to reach out to him.

Since sharing the video via his Twitter handle, Austin's tweet has received a whopping 1 million likes.

Oyinkannn (@arieyike) said,

"Reading these comments and seeing how one small act of kindness can bring such good things to your life. Amazing."

DLaine Studios (@DlaineStudios) added,

"Please tell your dad he is a wonderful human being and thank you for that. And thank you for working hard for everyone during this pandemic. If it weren't for him we wouldn't be getting the things we need to get through this craziness. God bless him. He is a saint."

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that a man had been reported to have obtained DNA test results of all the four children he had with his wife only to be told that none of the kids actually belong to him.

YEN.com.gh sighted on the Twitter handle of Gospel Josiah, a gentleman who was moved by the story and decided to make it public.

According to Josiah, the man who became a victim to this rather unfortunate incident is his own friend who has always known the four beautiful children to be his.
