Two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion Alex Morgan has taken to social media to announce the arrival of her first child Charlie Elena Carrasco.
The 30-year-old who finished as joint top scorer at the 2019 edition of the global football showpiece in France made the news known to her followers on social media.
She accompanied the picture of the adorable little angel with a short note which reads: "At 1130am on May 7 weighing 8lbs5oz, Charlie Elena Carrasco made her grand entrance into the world.

"She made us wait longer than expected, but I should have known she would do it her way and her way only. My super moon baby."
Alex got married to Major League Soccer star Servando Carrasco in 2014 and they revealed last October that they were expecting a baby in April.
Meanwhile, the latest dad also shared the picture of baby Charlie on his Instagram page with the caption: "Charlie Elena Carrasco, we love you so much, baby girl,"
According to Daily Mail Servando showered praises on his wife for her bravery and strength in the delivery room.

Meanwhile, Morgan was said to have announced she was not hanging her boots just yet after winning her second FIFA World Cup in France last year.
She vowed to show up at the next edition of the international competition in 2023, although, she would probably have missed out of the Olympic Games this year if it was not disrupted by COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, the founder and leader of Crime Check Foundation has donated 100 mattresses to prisoners in Ghana who unfortunately have no beds.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook handle of the Crime Check TV GH, it is indicated that the Prisons Service made the request on the foundation.
According to the report, the Director-General of the Prisons Service met with the Crime Check Foundation just three days earlier, appealing for help as many prisoners had no beds to lay their heads on.
