Dominic Fobih: Ghana's 'youngest' sports presenter granted lifetime scholarship by Dr Kwaku Oteng

Ghana’s youngest sports presenter, Dominic Fobih, has been granted a lifetime scholarship by the president and founder of Angel Group, Dr Kwaku Oteng.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Dominic Fobih, aged 10, a minor with extreme insight into sports presentation and analysis on radio, has been signed by Angel FM.

Fobih's signing was announced by the station's director of operations, Captain Smart, on Friday, 17 July.

Following the brief ceremony, Dr Kwaku Oteng, the president and founder of Angel Group, has granted the child prodigy a lifetime scholarship.

YEN.com.gh learned that the renowned media owner and business titan also wants Dominic moved to Accra for professional training by the sports team at Angel Broadcasting Network.

Dominic will be attending school on a scholarship at Vine Christian High School in Accra.

The board of directors for Vine Christian High School approved the scholarship for Dominic which will enable him to continue his studies without any financial setbacks.

Speaking about the school’s decision to award the genius child sports presenter the scholarship, the principal of Vine Christian High, Joshua Tsatro Mordy, said the school wants to ensure Dominic receives the best education.

Mordy said Dominic will benefit immensely from the school’s ‘audio and visual learners’.

He added the school system at Vine Christian High is modelled around the knowledge-led content which can accommodate him.

''We want to put him in a system that can make him develop his talent so that such brilliant ‘chaps’ won’t be lost,'' Mordy told Captain Smart on Angel FM’s morning show, Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ.

In another story, a Twitter user, LU_Relentless, has greatly esteemed himself for taking the necessary steps to attain his goals.

LU_Relentless revealed in the post that he has equally been praised by his loved ones who he faced major setbacks with when he set out to pursue his dreams.

According to the young man, even though the world said no to him, God had his back. He recognises God for his success story.
