Joe Mettle wedding: Berla Mundi reacts to gospel singer's marriage to Selassie Dzisa

TV presenter, Berlynda Addadey, popularly known as Berla Mundi, has congratulated gospel singer, Joe Mettle, on his marriage.

Mettle got married to Salomey Selassie Dzisa in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony, popularly known as engagement in Ghana, on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Following the traditional ceremony, the gospel minister took to social media to share a photo with his wife.

It was under Mettle's post that Berla Mundi sent her congratulations to the award-winning gospel musician.

In her congratulatory message, Berla Mundi referred to Joe Mettle as 'anyemi', a Ga term which translates as 'my sibling' (brother or sister).

Apart from sending congratulating Mettle, Berla Mundi also prayed for God's blessing for the marriage saying:

"Congrats anyemi. God bless your marriage ."

Berla's message as captured in the red rectangle in the photo below generated interest from some social media users and had 15 replies.

Going through the replies, many of them asking if Berla was cool. Their concerns were based on rumours that came up some months ago.

The rumour had suggested that Mettle and Berla Mundi were dating and were about to get married very soon.

While Mettle was quick to dismiss the rumours, he never mentioned the name of the woman he was seeing leaving many people to still believe in speculations.

Until the wedding invitation came out, no one knew, except perhaps the families of the couple who were aware Mettle was dating Selassie.

Meanwhile, videos from the bridal shower of Salomey Selassie Dzisa has popped up showing her partying with family and friends.

Earlier, a pre-wedding photo of the couple was also published by YEN.com.gh showing how the two look good and are a perfect match for each other.

Many people have wished them well as Ghanaians prepare to share in the gospel musician’s big day.
