One of the longest-serving staff of the Multimedia Group Said Ali Yaqub has passed.
The unfortunate happened on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The news editor reportedly fell sick on Friday, August 14, and was sent to the hospital on Saturday.

The father of two buried his mother a week ago and has since been on leave at his hometown in Asante-Gyamase where he fell sick.
Narrating events leading to his demise, his colleagues said Saeed complained of ill health and was initially admitted at the Asamang SDA hospital.
He was subsequently transferred to KATH Saturday evening when his condition got worse. He died on Sunday morning at about 6 am, according to doctors.
Saeed Ali Yaqub has been with the Multimedia Group since 1998. He worked at Bothe Luv FM and Nhyira FM.

In accordance with Islamic traditions, he will be put to rest on Monday, August 17 in his hometown.

According to the former deputy education minister under the John Mahama administration, any reliable information leading to the arrest of the culprits of the said crimes will be rewarded.
