The New Patriotic Party's Free SHS policy is clearly one of the best campaign promises that has benefitted the masses especially those who could not afford formal education
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, one of the beneficiaries, Rebecca Essuman of the Agogo State College, aced all her examinations.
Rebecca aced all her core subjects as well as elective subjects .
According to the post, Rebecca is from a poor family, and is lucky to have benefitted from the initiate.
Unfortunately, her family does not have the means to help her continue her education to the tertiary level.
The excellent result slip from this brilliant but needy girl has drawn a lot of reactions from Ghanaians.

There is going to be an announcement on the 1st of December by the scholarship secretariat regarding all such students that need help. Also on Monday all students who applied to legon are to go there and meet government officials and authorities who are helping with scholarships.

In a related development, YEN.com.gh earlier reported Thomas Amoaning, a graduate of Adeiso Senior High School who scored 8As in 2020 West Africa Senior Schools Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) is to receive a government scholarship.
This follows a directive President Nana Akufo-Addo gave the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat to grant a full scholarship to Amoaning.
Akufo-Addo's directive is in response to the story of Amoaning which popped up on social media a few days ago.
