Alhaji Asuma Banda's Son Fadel Arrested For Breaking Into His Father's House

Fadel Asuma Banda, one of the sons of Ghanaian business mogul Alhaji Asuma Banda, has been arrested by the police.
This follows a reported attempt by Fadel to break into his father's house with a group of people.
A report by Daily Guide sighted by YEN.com.gh indicated that Fadel tried to break into the house in the morning of Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

Fadel, said to be 33-years-old, was in the company of about 20 other men who helped him break into the compound by pounding the metal gate with concrete blocks.
But he and two others Aliu Bello and Suleman Mohammed were arrested by the Airport Police before they could enter the main building. The others fled the scene upon the arrival of the police.
Fadel is reported to have explained that he took that action because he had been denied access to his father since he returned from UK.
Even though Fadel was told that his father does not want to see him, he feels it was just an excuse from his stepmother, Edwina Baaba Banda, to stop him from seeing his father.
According to the report, Fadel claims to have reliable information that his father is sick and his stepmother was just doing everything to prevent the family from seeing Alhaji Banda.
DSP Afia Tenge, the Greater Accra Regional Police PRO is reported to have confirmed the incident and the arrest of Fadel and his accomplices.
The incident happens just a few months after Alhaji Banda's wife, Edwina Banda, turned 60 years old.
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, the business mogul's wife celebrated with a plush birthday party.
Photos and video from the party which popped up on social media circuated for days.
