Fatima of Date Rush fame has revealed the reasons behind her many piercings.
She has a total of 11 piercings all over her ears, particularly, the left ear.
Revealing the reason in an exclusive interview with YEN.com.gh, Fatima said the piercings remind her of the hard time she has had to deal with in life, as well as the pain.

According to her, anytime she pierces, the sharp pain brings her memories of the struggle in life and motivates her to keep moving in life.
Fatima said the pains also encourage her to keep going in the way that she feels comfortable, and not to please people because nobody can understand the pain she went through.
Shedding light on the pain, Fatima narrated how she was abandoned in an orphanage at the age of five.
She revealed she was taken there by a neighbour who saw that she needed help and care after realising that her parents could not take care of her.
Fatima admitted that she comes from a very poor home, and had it not been for the orphanage, she might not be a known person now.
Meanwhile, another contestant on Date Rush, Priscila Etornam Agbeke, known simply as Cilla has also spoken about herself in an interview with YEN.com.gh.
Sharing how her mother reacted to her being on the show, Cilla said her mother is very comfortable with it and is in full support.
She also said her pastor is solidly behind her because she has successfully explained everything to him.
Cilla disclosed further that contrary to speculations that she is on the show to gain exposure, she is truly there for love.
