A video has emerged of Ghanaian artiste, Shatta Wale cruising around town with Jupitar amidst reports about his health.
Media reports late last week claimed that Wale was battling kidney failure. The report added that his decision to go off social media and spend time in the United States of America is part of a plan to hide how serious his supposed condition is.
In the video posted by Jupitar on Instagram, Wale is seen driving in town whilst laughing and smoking.
"Road with @shattawalenima," captioned the video.
Chris Koney, his publicist had previously allayed the fears of his teeming fans and asked them to ignore the rumours in a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on Facebook.
In other news, television host and comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger, does not support the ongoing social media campaign #FixTheCountry.
Under the rallying call #FixTheCountry, Ghanaians online have taken the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government to task by outlining the various issues slowing Ghana's growth and its effects on citizens.
However, Schwarzenegger believes citizens need to change their attitude before calling on the President to change the country.
In a video posted online, she said President Akufo-Addo does not necessarily have the power to change the nation as an individual, and that it takes a collective effort.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that celebrity backing for the #FixTheCountry campaign was growing with the likes of Yvonne Nelson, Bridget Otoo, Serwaa Amihere, and many others joining the train.
John Dumelo previously expressed support for calls by Ghanaians for the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government to resolve the nation's issues.
