Nigerians and countless number of people in many parts of the world are still mourning the shocking death of popular Pastor Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua who died in Lagos.
The news of the death of the Man of God came as a great shock for many people considering how he preached to the multitude hours before his demise.
During his lifetime, Prophet T.B. Joshua was known as a man who helped millions of people spiritually, physically, morally and financially.
Prophet T.B. Joshua was such a humble man who lived a non flamboyant life despite been one of the richest Pastors in the whole world.
Today in our report, we take a look at some of the Nigerian footballers who have visited Prophet T.B. Joshua in his Synagogue Church of all Nations in Lagos.
Some of these footballers visited him for private discussions, while others went to him for solutions to their problems.
1. Sani Emmanuel
Before his move to Lazio, Emmanuel was an Altar boy in Prophet T.B. Joshua’s church and was single handedly sent on trial in Italy by the man of God.
Although, Emmanuel is presently without a club, he attributes his little success in football to TB Joshua.
2. Ogenyi Onazi
Years back, Super Eagles star Ogenyi Onazi named Prophet T.B. Joshua as the man behind the success of his football career.
The former Lazio midfielder has played 52 games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and has scored only one goal so far.
3. Daniel Amokachi
During his active playing time, former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi was said to have gone to the Synagogue church when he had knee problems and thanked the Man of God later.
4. Nwankwo Kanu
Former Arsenal and Super Eagles striker Kanu Nwankwo was also said to have visited Prophet T.B. Joshua when he had heart problems years back.
5. Joseph Yobo
Former Nigerian International Joseph Yobo was reported to have visited the Synagogue Church of T.B. Joshua for prayers after suffering a hamstring injury in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.
6. Angel Gomes
Before leaving Manchester United for a move to Portuguese club Boavista, Angel Gomes traveled to Nigeria where he visited Prophet T.B. Joshua for special prayers and healing.
Earlier, it was reported how Nigerian Beach soccer legend Abu Azeez described late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Joshua, better known as Prophet TB Joshua as a good man.
The country woke on Sunday morning to the tragic news as several sources claim the SCOAN founder had died.
Confirming the report, the church took to their Facebook Page to disclose that the death was sudden as he passed away on Saturday night in Lagos after concluding a programme.
