Ghanaian seer, Karma President, also known as Abusua One God, has waded into the raging controversy over whether Akosua Serwaa or Odo Broni should be considered as Daddy Lumba’s legitimate wife.

Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, passed away on July 26, 2025, after a short illness.

The musician had four children with his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, whom he met in the 1980s while they both resided in Germany.

He later married Priscilla Ofori Atta, popularly known as Odo Broni, and reportedly had five children with her by the time of his death.

With an expansive music catalogue and vast wealth on the line, supporters of both women have begun beefing, with accusations and counteraccusations flying over who was the more supportive spouse to the legend.

In a viral video, a woman claiming to be Akosua Serwaa’s sister slammed Odo Broni for destroying Daddy Lumba’s perfect marriage for her personal gain.

In a response, an alleged relative of Odo Broni also accused Akosua Serwaa of abandoning the musician during his difficult times.

Karma President prophesies about Daddy Lumba’s wives

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page Sumsum Wiase, Karma President addressed the controversy between Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni.

He said spiritually, Odo Broni was the favoured wife because Daddy Lumba’s talent had been bestowed on one of her children.

Karma President advised her not to fight Akosua Serwaa for any of the late musician’s properties because her son would become an even bigger star than his father.

“Daddy Lumba's gift and songwriting abilities have been bestowed on Odo Broni. They have a little son who has braided his hair; he is going to be a much bigger star than his father. So Odo Broni, don't fight anyone over properties,” he said.
