Renowned Ghanaian clergyman Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu-Bempah has shared a concerning prophecy for the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

Speaking before his congregation on Sunday, September 28, 2025, the founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International church claimed that the ruling party was struggling and getting weaker in the spiritual realms.

He noted that he was unhappy with the events he saw in the spiritual realms in his vision. He claimed that God had instructed him to publicly share the prophecy with the nation.

Apostle Dr Owusu Bempah cautioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against making some mistakes that could lead them to early opposition after President John Dramani Mahama's tenure ends in 2028.

He said:

"The strength and power that the NDC came to office with has dropped. I saw that your energy in the spiritual realm had dropped. That is what I saw. When I saw it, I was not happy. It is as if you have forgotten about your first love."

"God told me to share this message for the nation to hear it. NDC members should listen. Those in power should listen. The spirit that was backing you has dropped. If you want to rule for two consecutive terms, then you must step up or else the NDC will go to opposition after President John Dramani Mahama serves his term."

The founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International church warned that the ruling party could lose out on carrying out its mandate after the next general elections.

Apostle Dr Owusu Bempah advised the party against being complacent and thinking that they would continue the pattern of ruling governments serving consecutive terms in Ghana.

He said:

"People think that there is a pattern where a political party usually exhausts two consecutive terms. If the NDC relies on this belief that all parties serve two terms, you will end up disappointed. If you are not careful, you will only last for one term."

The popular pastor called on the party officials to seek solutions to their spiritual problems and ascertain the reasons behind them.

Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu-Bempah also shared a prophecy concerning the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer race.

The founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International church warned the opposition party against choosing a certain candidate.

He said the party’s loss in the 2024 general elections was not a fluke but due to their choice of candidate and ignoring certain spiritual directions.
