The clip, believed to have been recorded in 2025, shows Ohemaa detailing a turbulent chapter of her life ahead of her time on the popular TV3 competition, where she represented the Bono East Region in the 2023 GMB edition.

Ohemaa's account of her past arrest

In the interview, Ohemaa disclosed that she is a mother of two children, sharing that she had her first child with her teacher.

She went on to recount a heated confrontation with her auntie that took place before her second child was born.

During the argument, Ohemaa said she picked up a pair of scissors and accidentally injured her auntie in the heat of the moment.

Rather than handle the matter within the family, her auntie reported the incident to the police, leading to Ohemaa's arrest.

She did not go into detail about how long she was held or what led to her release, but she was firm on one point: rumours that began circulating at the time suggesting she had been arrested for stealing were false.

She maintained that the arrest was tied solely to the confrontation with her auntie.

Why the video is trending now

The timing of the clip's reappearance has not been lost on social media users.

Ohemaa is currently at the centre of theft allegations, and many online have been drawing comparisons between her past explanations and the accusations she now faces.
