An old video featuring former 2023 Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant contestant Ohemaa has come back into public view, drawing renewed attention because of its striking relevance to allegations currently surrounding her.

Ohemaa, who represented the Bono East Region in the 2023 edition of GMB, has recently found herself at the centre of public debate following theft allegations.
The resurfaced footage, an interview she gave some time ago, shows her speaking candidly about a painful episode from her family's past.
Ohemaa's mother and the 'Kobi' accusation
In the interview, Ohemaa described an incident in which her mother was accused of stealing salted tilapia, a dried fish locally known in Ghana as "kobi."
She recalled that the accusation involved claims that her mother had concealed the fish in a piece of cloth.
Ohemaa pushed back on the allegation at the time, suggesting the claim did not hold together, and described the toll the accusation took on her family, saying they were left deeply embarrassed by the whole ordeal.
The clip had largely faded from public memory until now.
Its reappearance, timed against the backdrop of the current controversy involving Ohemaa herself, has prompted a fresh wave of commentary online, with several users drawing parallels between the two situations.
