Paul Kwabena Yandoh, the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), expressed profound concern over Ghana's future following the passing of Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

During an interview on Adusi Polku Media, the communications director expressed that he has lost hope in the nation's progress following the Apostle's death.

According to him, Apostle Safo had been given a divine "formula" and a special prayer from God, which was meant to be the key to Ghana's success. Yandoh believes this spiritual gift has been lost with the Apostle's passing.

Speaking further, he expressed his deep concern and confusion about the spiritual and political direction of the country, questioning how the nation will be led without the Apostle's guidance.

Speaking further, he stated that Ghana’s success was divinely entrusted to Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo by God, but President Mahama failed to pursue it.

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safor, aka the star of Africa, passed away on Thursday, 11 September 2025, as announced by the Safo family and Kristo Asafo Church, at the age of 77 years.

Apostle Kwadwo's daughter details his death

Sarah Adwoa Safo, the daughter of the late Apostle, after his death, released a press statement, describing her father as a gallant son of Ghana. According to her, he was a man whose unique persona and legacy were shaped by his life struggles and unwavering commitment to excellence.

The statement, signed by Adwoa Safo on behalf of the Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church, likened his passing to a transition into the Lord’s embrace.
