The moment between Jordan Ayew and Stephen Appiah is also below:
Appiah, now vice-chairman of Ghana Black Stars Management Committee, plays a vital role as a bridge between players and management.
His influence runs deep, for both his leadership behind the scenes and for his legacy, with many seeing him as the standard of captaincy.
From 2002 to 2010, Appiah captained Ghana, guiding the team to its first-ever FIFA World Cup in 2006. He retired internationally in 2010.
According to Transfermarkt statistics, he made 48 appearances for Ghana's national team, contributing eight goals and three assists.

While Jordan has failed to score in four appearances for Leicester in the Championship, his form for Ghana has been the complete opposite.
The 33-year-old has been the standout performer in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers, with five goals and four assists, according to Flashscore.
Ghana’s path to another World Cup continues in N’Djamena on September 4, where they will face Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Deby Itno.
Four days later, the Black Stars return to Accra to battle Mali at the Sports Stadium. The team currently tops its qualifying group for the 2026 Mundial.
For Jordan, these fixtures present another chance to bring Ghana closer to a fifth appearance on football’s grandest stage, just like Appiah did 19 years earlier.
