Real Madrid appear to be in crisis just days before facing Barcelona in El Clásico, with reports claiming Federico Valverde was taken to hospital after a fight with teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni.
It has been a difficult week for Los Blancos, with several reports emerging from inside the club suggesting serious tension within the dressing room.

Earlier in the week, a major report claimed that six players were refusing to speak to interim manager Álvaro Arbeloa, creating poor preparation ahead of the clash with Barcelona, where defeat would hand their rivals the La Liga title.
There was also a separate altercation involving Antonio Rüdiger and Álvaro Carreras, with the Spanish defender later releasing a statement about the incident.
Why Valverde and Tchouameni fought
However, reports suggest the clash between Valverde and Tchouaméni was even more serious and resulted in the Uruguay midfielder being hospitalised.
According to Spanish outlet Cadena SER, the altercation took place inside the dressing room and ended with Valverde slipping and falling before striking his head on a table, causing a serious cut.
The report added that the injury was not directly caused by Tchouaméni.
Meanwhile, ESPN reported further details about what allegedly triggered the confrontation between the two midfielders.
The outlet stated:
“A source has told ESPN that the fight broke out at the end of training, following a practice match with some heavy challenges. Tchouaméni went to the changing room, and Valverde then entered, looking very tense. That's where they got into a fight, the source said.
“A second source told ESPN that Valverde kicked Tchouaméni during training, then they insulted each other, and Tchouaméni went for Valverde.
“The tension between them started when Xabi Alonso was still at the club,” the source added.
