Antoine Semenyo turned an ordinary matchday into an unforgettable memory for one young Manchester City supporter during the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.
The 26-year-old was in action for the Cityzens in their home fixture at the Etihad Stadium, a game City ultimately won 2-1 after a dramatic late comeback.
Despite the visitors taking the lead through Marcus Tarvenier in the first half, Bournemouth were pegged back in the closing stages by goals from Marc Guehi and Josko Gvardiol, handing new City manager Enzo Maresca a winning start to his Premier League tenure.

Amid the action, a young City fan in the stands caught the attention of those nearby by holding up a banner with a simple but heartfelt message:
"Can I have your (Semenyo) shirt, please?" The 26-year-old forward did not let the request go unanswered.
At the final whistle, Semenyo made his way up into the stands to personally deliver his match-worn jersey to the young supporter, a moment that moved the child to tears.

Semenyo opens up on inspiring the next generation
The gesture aligns closely with values Semenyo has spoken about publicly.
In a recent interview with CNN Sport, the forward reflected on what drives him beyond the game itself.
"It's a dream of mine to have kids looking up to me, following in my footsteps. It gives me more motivation to keep going," he said.

Although Semenyo did not find the scoresheet in the opening round of the Premier League, he completed the full 90 minutes and played his part in what Maresca described as a performance full of character and determination.
He said, as cited by the BBC:
"The spirit was fantastic," he said.
"It's a game that we deserved to win. In the second half they didn't have a shot on goal until the 80th minute, so I think we deserved it."
Man City's next assignment is an away trip to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on August 28.
