The event is an annual awards scheme designed to reward people who have contributed their quota to the development of the Ghanaian Arts and Entertainment industry.

The music diva wowed the audience with beautiful versions of Shatta Wale’s “Freedom”, as well as the popular 2016 campaign song, “Onaapo”.

Onaapo was a popular campaign song that ruled the Ghanaian airwaves in the run up to the 2016 elections.

By slightly altering the words of both songs into beautiful Gospel pieces, she easily won the hearts of her fans with her lovely pieces.

With the full support of backing vocalists who chorused the songs along with her, Gifty Osei made use of the campaign song to praise Jesus, stating that none could be compared to him.

She then switched to the latest hit released by Shatta Wale, “Freedom”, to the delight of the audience.

Her creativity was its best as she included the phrase ‘I am that I am’, while dancing to the live band music.

At the recently organized S Concert organized at the Accra Sports Stadium, the ‘Adom’ hit maker was subjected to heavy criticism by some persons in the gospel fraternity.

This was because, her dress at the event was considered inappropriate.

That notwithstanding, she appeared to have enjoyed herself as she performed on stage to the delight of her fans.
