UCC Distance Education Fees and Courses

The University Of Cape Coast is one of the Ghanaian reputable institutions of higher learning offering quality education. Ucc has subsidiary campuses located at Winneba and Kumasi. UCC Distance Education Fees and Courses

With the emphasized need for education either through regular student programs or professional seeking further advancement, the UCC distance education came into place. In addition to these categories, there is also a program for Full-Time Regular students, Ghanaian Fee Paying students and foreign students. This piece puts on emphasis on the UCC distance education Ghana. The following is the approved fees schedule for UCC’s fresh, continuing and final year students as per their respective courses.

Although, distance learning students do not attend classes as the regular ones do. There are fees applicable which includes the Tuition, preparatory classes fees, examination fees among others. It is also worthwhile noting that the UCC distance education fees do not include the accommodation fees. Below is the fee tied to diploma, post-diploma and graduate courses:

This fee is not the comprehensive charge for offering the above courses. Students may have to incur other charges such as accommodation, UEW Endowment Trust Fund and for the final year students a congregation fee. This is the UCC distance education programmes schedule at the www.ucc.edu.gh. The UCC Distance Education fees should be paid the UCC account either at Ghana Commercial Bank, Agric. Development Bank, National Investment Bank, Zenith Bank, Unibank Ghana or Prudential Bank.

UCC Distance Education Fees and Courses

There are many courses offered at the University of Cape coast in their different schools, faculties and departments. In the faculty of education, there are specialties such as in humanities, humanities – VOTEC, Science, and Science - VOTEC. The science department has various studies such as nursing, physical science, psychology, agriculture, forensic science, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, entomology, medical lab technology among many others. School of business has business administration. In the faculty of Arts are courses on social sciences, music & dance, theater studies, communication studies, tourism & hospitality Mgt, Population & health, African studies just to mention but a few courses.

These courses are offered in an academic year which comprises of two semesters. It is then designed to be suitable for holiday, evening and distance learning students. The UCC Distance Education is clearly a value package and has helped extend expertise through passing on of knowledge.
