Printex Ghana commenced business about 60 years ago as Millet Textile Corporation (MTC), producing only terry towels. In 1980, the company started operating as Printex on the Spintex road. This was during an expansion program. At the time, the company was spinning Kente clothing and weaving. A finishing department was added to enhance the production of new products. The products included uniforms, furnishings, dress fabrics, and shirt materials.
In 1997, the company assumed its name, Printex Ghana. Since its establishment, Printex Ghana has metamorphosed from a family-owned textile mill to a renowned African print producer in the whole West African sub-region.
