After promoting Menzgold and NAM 1, Okyeame Kwame says he didn't invest with them

Hiplife and Afropop artiste, Okyeame Kwame, has said he does not have any investment with the troubled gold dealership company, Menzgold.

Speaking to Love FM in Kumasi, "Small Small" hitmaker said there was no element of truth in some media reports suggesting that he invested in Menzgold.

The Daily Graphic reports that the self-described 'Rap Doctor', who was reacting to trending social media reports that he has invested Gh¢150,000 with Menzgold, therefore urged his followers to disregard such publications.

Okyeame Kwame is one of the popular Ghanaian celebrities who openly endorsed Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1, and his business empire.

It is rather surprising that as one of the fiercest promoters of the gold dealership, Okyeame Kwame did not invest a dime with the company.

Many would no doubt feel that it is a betrayal of trust.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that in what looked like a WhatsApp message posted on the Instagram page of political commentator, Kwame A-plus, a phone number with the name Togbe was given as the one who supposedly leaked the amounts certain celebrities invested with Menzgold.

In response to the allegation by Togbe, A-plus who is a former secretary to the CEO of Korle-Bu wrote: "If I get 2.000.000 Ghana cedis paaa like a no go invest for Menzgold. Like a go buy Nam1 himself and his future generation!!!"
