Ahmed Hussein-Suale was responsible for his own death- Effah Dartey

Private legal practitioner, Captain Retired Nkrabea Effah Dartey, has disclosed that, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, an undercover journalist with Tiger Eye PI, was solely to blame for his death.

“It is unfortunate he has been shot dead but if you go and stand on the road and you are knocked down by a vehicle it is your own palaver”, he disclosed on Accra-based Okay FM.

Defending Kennedy, lawyer Effah Dartey said the fact that Kennedy showed his images on TV did not mean people should go and kill him.

He said no one could stand in a court of competent jurisdiction to pronounce Kennedy Agyapong guilty.

“All he sought to do was to say Ahmed was a member of Tiger Eye PI and these were images and there is nothing wrong with it. If you are a member of Tiger Eye PI and believe what you are doing is right, why you are afraid they will make your images public?”, he quizzed.

He however sympathized with the bereaved family but observed that they exposed themselves to danger with impunity when they were supposed to tread cautiously.

The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Berekum constituency, was of the view that Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his entire Tiger Eye PI crew would have been wiped off by a sniper if Ghana was the United States of America (USA) as earlier reported by YEN.com.gh.

He disclosed that the modus operandi of Anas in unraveling corrupt practices would not be allowed in such countries.

His defense follows a series of allegations leveled towards the Assin Central MP for his open comments on national television during Anas' 'Number 12' exposé in June 2018.
