According to a report by Daily Guide, the family members of the deceased have decided to quit the NDC.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, one of the family members said the party has neglected them after the incident.

The sad aspect of the issue is that the NDC and their leadership have turned their back on us after we have lost Wasihu, who was young with a bright future,” a family member identified as Mother said.

“We have learnt vital lessons from how the NDC neglected us after the death of Wasihu and so we have decided to leave the party for good.

According to her, the NDC’s reaction following the demise of their relative proves it is not a party worth dying for.

“The NDC is not a party to die for and so we have decided to leave the party and nothing would influence us to rescind our decision.

The family has realized that the NDC is not a political party, which is worth dying for, hence our decision to call it quits once-and-for-all,” she added.
