- Bulldog has tipped Shatta Wale to win the 2019 VGMAs Artiste of the Decade honour
- According to him, Shatta Wale has been peerless in the last decade
The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is slated to come off on Saturday, May 18. This year's edition happens to be special as it coincides with the 20th anniversary celebrations of the award.
One of the most coveted awards up for grabs on the day will be the Artiste of the Decade which seeks to crown the best Ghanaian artiste between 2009 and 2019.
The nominees on the list include Becca, Efya, Joe Mettle, No Tribe and Nacee, and Okyeame Kwame. Others are R2Bees, Samini, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy.

While there are 10 people on the list, many people have shortlisted it to the last four artistes.
With Stonebwoy coming out to declare that he is not interested in the award because he thinks Samini deserves it than anybody else, the list could be shortened to three main artistes.
A popular artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Lawrence Hanson Asiamah aka Bulldog has, however, come out clear for Shatta Wale saying the My Level hitmaker is peerless.
According to Bulldog who is Shatta Wale's former manager, the exploits of Wale in the last decade were so sterling and cannot me matched or emulated.

Taking to his Facebook page, Bulldog explained:
“A comeback that can only compare to the yet “second coming” of Christ.
A record breaking consistency that can compare to these greats of all time
