Shatta Wale undoubtedly has the biggest fan base in Ghana. It was Shatta Wale who introduced fan base in Ghana music. His fan base, SM Movement, is not only in Ghana but has branches in Liberia and Togo.

2. Crowd ‘puller’

Shatta Wale made history last Saturday when he launched his 'Reign' album at the Fantasy Dome.

The 20,000 capacity venue was built this year. There have been several shows there but it is only Shatta Wale who has been able to fill the venue.

Whether good or bad Shatta Wale is the most-talked about artiste in Ghana. After rebranding from Bandana to Shatta Wale, he has been at the top for the past seven years.

4. Milestone

Shatta Wale is the only musician in the history of Ghana Music Industry who has been honoured by a sitting president. He was invited to the Jubilee House by President Akufo-Addo on the occasion of Wale’s birthday. He received a special gift of the Coat of Arms from the President as his birthday gift.
