Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that students of the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) have sold one of the school’s gate to a scrap dealer.
This happened after the students reportedly went on a rampage over the weekend during which they attacked teachers and destroyed properties.
The school’s authorities finally discovered the gate in the possession of the dealer.
Details available show that the students were protesting ill-treatment from a senior housemaster, celebritiesbuzz.com.gh reports.
It has been established that the students handed over the gate to the dealer and assured him they will be back to negotiate its price.
KTI’s principal, Andoh Mensah, expressed worry about the conduct of the students, saying that students in other institutions do not behave like that.
She, however, added that she will not allow the students to dictate to the authorities on how to run the school.
