NDC Parliamentary candidate for Subin Linford Owuo reported dead

Parliamentary Candidate for Subin in the Ashanti Region, on the ticket of the NDC, Linford Owuo, popularly known as CD has been reported dead.

He was found in his bedroom at Asafo in Kumasi Wednesday, January 8, morning.

According to a report on Kasapafmonline.com, his lifeless body was found in his bedroom at Asafo in Kumasi.

The cause of his death is unclear and yet to be established.

His lifeless body has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for autopsy and preservation.

Linford Owuo is reportedly known for engaging in several questionable activities for the NDC in Ashanti region for many years.

In 2009, he was arrested and stood trial at a Kumasi Circuit Court for robbing Appiah Stadium who was at that time an NPP serial caller.

According to the facts of the case, Cedi, on Wednesday, March 4 purportedly took the laws into his hands and led an unprovoked attack on Appiah Stadium and burnt his Daewoo Lenox saloon car in the process valued at GH¢7,100 into ashes whilst robbing him of an amount of GH¢2,750.

After the condemnable act, Appiah Stadium was driven in the same taxi cab from the Asem School Park through Amakom, heading to an unknown destination when he was fortunately rescued by some passers-by who heard him scream for help from the taxi.

In other news, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has wished Ghanaians a happy New Year and urged them to keep hope alive in 2020.

The former president in his New Year message also urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to ensure peace and violence-free elections 2020.

He opined, that he will continue to campaign for peace and urged Akufo-Addo to also do and ensure same in the election year.
