A Japanese billionaire has announced he is searching for a girlfriend who will accompany him to a trip around the moon.

The 44-year-old tycoon said the lucky lady will be part of a documentary he is filming.

According to Dailymail, Yusaku Maezawa has already formed a website used to seek suitable applicants for the coveted position.

Yusaku maintained the girl needs to be a proponent of world peace and must be ready to hit the road in 2023.

The lady must be over 20 years old and should be single and ready to mingle.

Yusaku had earlier admitted he often feels lonely and empty therefore developing the urge to find a life partner.

“With that future partner of mine, I want to shout our love and world peace from outer space,” the billionaire said.

The entrepreneur hopes to travel to space as the first private passenger on Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

Yusaku had a 27-year-old lover who was an actress but the two split up after dating for a while.

Applications for the sought-after position will officially close on January 17 after which the tycoon will choose his partner in March 2020.

Yusaku is the founder of Zozo online fashion retailer which was sold to SoftBank Group Corp.

Forbes estimates the tycoon's worth to be a whopping KSh 198 billion.
