The athlete answered in the affirmative, saying that he needs his “Mamba Chopper” when in Los Angeles. In other interviews, Kobe said he rents the helicopter regularly because he cannot stand the heavy traffic in Los Angeles.

Kimmel: “I remember you used to fly your helicopter from your home to the Staples Center.”

Bryant: “I still fly it now down there.”

Kimmel: "Are you still flying it by yourself now?"

Bryant: Dude, no. I barely trust myself behind the wheels of the car let alone a helicopter. But that’s as Hollywood as I get though. I’m not coming to LA if I don’t have my Mamba Chopper.”
