Kofi Boakye Yaidom known in showbiz as Kofi B is dead.
It has come to light that the late singer was not in good terms with his godfather Ofori Amponsah some time back.
YEN.com.gh has sighted a trending interview video of Kofi B recounting an uncomfortable confrontation with Ofori Amponsah.
In the said interview, Kofi B revealed how Ofori Amponsah rained curses and insults on him and warned him never to perform a song they recorded together.
He added that even though they made over 1.7 billion old Ghana Cedis in the sale of their songs, Ofori Amponsah reportedly cheated him out of the proceeds.
YEN.com.gh reported how Kofi B's heartbreaking death dominated the headlines on February 1, 2020.
The ‘Mmobrowa’ singer, according to colleague musician Kofi Nti, started complaining of chest pains and unusual heartbeat right after his performance.
A doctor at the hospital where the singer was pronounced dead, said Kofi B was sweating and vomiting when he was brought in.
The ‘Bantama Kofi Boakye’ hitmaker was restless with very high body temperature and an unusual blood pressure 150/120, the doctor noted.

Meanwhile, a brother of the late Kofi B has revealed that the musician saw his death many days before he died.
He said Kofi B had a “bad dream” one day and requested to be taken to a pastor for a solution.
According to him, Kofi B dreamt that someone had shot him in the chest, penetrating the heart, and he woke up screaming.
