Kennedy Agyapong allegedly escapes assassination as gunmen storm his house

- Outspoken Ghanaian politician, Kennedy Agyapong has escaped an assassination attempt

- The gunmen stormed Kennedy Agyapong's mansion at Tema but met the absence of the spoken politician

- But they met Kennedy's nephew in the house

Some unidentified gunmen are reported to have stormed the house of MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong.

They were said to have met Agyapong's absence in his Tema mansion.

The MP's nephew reportedly confirmed the news to NET2 TV, Agyapong's own media station.

Recounting what happened, Kennedy's nephew said he heard the unusual footsteps and assumed it was his co-worker at Net2 so he descended downstairs only to be met by the gunmen.

One of them pulled a knife and coerced him to lead him to the room of Kennedy Agyapong.

The nephew of Kennedy Agyapong after leading him upstairs pulled a smart one on the guy and locked him in one of the rooms and quickly started shouting for help.

He added that the locked gunman still made his way out through a window in the room leaving the glass window broken.

However, Kennedy Agyapong is yet to officially make a statement on the entire assassination attempt.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Kennedy Agyapong says he is ready to expose all the 'fake' pastors who have been taking advantage of vulnerable ladies.

Kennedy warned such pastors to desist from this 'shameful' act else he will deal with them as he did with Bishop Obinim and Prophet Badu Kobi.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on NET 2, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency said the cups of those "fake" pastors' cups would soon be full if they do not stop taking advantage of women.
