DKB praises Shatta Wale for being a pacesetter after Gov't copied his innovative concept

- DKB has urged players in Ghana's entertainment industry to learn from some of the things Shatta Wale does in order to help move the industry forward

- DKB praised Shatta Wale for introducing his virtual Faith Concert concept which the government emulated for its Ghana’s COVID-19 Virtual Concert

Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kwabena Bonney, popularly known as DKB, has praised Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale for being a pacesetter following the success of his virtual Faith Concert concept.

According to DKB, Shatta Wale has done extremely well for coming up with the virtual concert concept.

In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, DKB said the virtual concert was a very good concept which was adopted by the government during its Ghana’s COVID-19 tracker launch.

The programme was accompanied by a Virtual Concert which took place on April 13, 2020.

He added that it is time Ghanaians listened to the message Shatta preaches and not to look at the messenger.

"Imagine how our showbiz industry will progress If only we listen to the boy Shatta wale (shatta movement) & what he does, but no, we claim he likes insulting. This #FaithConcert concept the Gov't is emulating wasn't it from the same insulting guy? Smh. Listen to the msg not the messenger," he posted on Facebook.

DKB disclosed that most people only say negative things about Shatta Wale which is not a good thing.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Shatta Wale, Fancy Gadam and Kuami Eugene among others, put up a spectacular performance for viewers at home at Ghana’s COVID-19 Virtual Concert organized by the Ministry of Communication.

The concert was streamed live on GHONE TV, UTV, the Ministry’s social media handles, and other affiliate stations.
