After her photos and the many well wishes which followed, YEN.com.gh reported that Nana Aba had been given a brand new Range Rover as a birthday gift.

Our report was based on a photo shared Nana Aba's protege, Joyce Serwaa Amihere, which went viral on social media.

The black Range Rover happened to be an already registered vehicle with the licence plate number GR 2050-20.

Following the viral photo, a Twitter user by name @CitizenYao has cast doubts over the genuineness of the car gift.

According to him, the GR 2050 - 20 number plate as embossed on the Range Rover is not originally for that car.

Using a shortcode from the National Insurance Commission to check car insurances, he claimed to have discovered that the number plate belongs to a Nissan Rogue vehicle which's insurance was registered on January 6, 2020, with expiration on January 5, 2021.

He shared a screenshot from his fact-finding on Twitter while describing the whole gift as fake.

The guy's tweet has so far gone viral with many people wondering what had really happened.

Meanwhile, Nana Aba Anamoah has held a plush private party to climax her birthday celebrations.
