The Multimedia Group has been served with yet another resignation as one of its news anchors, Komla Adom, has left the company.
Adom had worked with the group reading news on both Joy FM and Joy TV since joining the company five years ago.
Aside from being an intelligent journalist, Adom is also known by many to have a thing for fashion. This is seen in how he wears his fashionable clothes and rings on his fingers.
Before his resignation, Adom was reportedly called on by his employers to take off or minimise the number of rings he wore when appearing on set.
This, according to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ameyawdebrah.com, led to a bad relationship between Adom and his employers as he was not willing to let up the lifestyle he enjoyed.
Until his resignation, Adom was the host of Joy FM’s flagship morning news at 6am and the Sunday edition of the news.
Meanwhile, many more workers have left Multimedia just this year either by resignation or termination of contract.
Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku is one of them.
The skilled media personality took to social media to announce her employers had terminated her contract with immediate effect.
In a detailed report by YEN.com.gh, it was spelled out how she took the news when it was told to her the morning she had reported for work.
Mz Gee also left for TV3, and in an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, she revealed the hate and bitterness at Multimedia that led to her resignation.
