A young lady with the Twitter handle @taoleighgoffe has taken to Twitter to express regret over finishing her PhD at the age of 26.

The American lady said she regrets finishing her PhD at 26, adding that people should take time off between graduate school and undergraduate school.

According to her, graduate school is not the safety net people think it is.

She wrote: "I finished my PhD at 26. I regret this. Take time off between grad school and undergrad. Live your life. Defer, read, work, explore, party, save, make art, sleep.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Ive Jones, a North Carolina graduating senior at Apex Friendship High School, was admitted into 45 universities with over $4 million in scholarships.

In spite of the toll of the novel coronavirus pandemic on schools which has affected commencements everywhere, Jones is still celebrating her admirable accomplishment.

The 17-year old is graduating with distinction with acceptance letters from 45 out of the 50 schools she applied to and more than $4 million in academic scholarships.

Jones indicated that she was motivated by other black kids doing same.

In other news, a Nigerian lady identified as Nyifamu Ogechi Manzo has inspired people on social media with her success story a year after investing in poultry farming.

Sharing her story on Twitter, Nyifamu said she started poultry farming in a spare room her dad allowed her and her brother to use.

She wrote: "We started from 50 birds and then 70, 100 and 120 birds over time."

Nyifamu said she thought of expanding her business and owning a farm since she had built relations and acquired a good number of customers.

The young lady said she made her costing for 800 birds capacity pen.

In another interesting report by YEN.com.gh, Akua Gaddafi, the first Ghanaian policewoman to ride across four West African countries in a day, has said she has never received a bribe in her profession.

The hardworking officer made this revelation during an interview with Ato Kwamina and Frema Adunyame on Citi TV's lifestyle variety show, Upside Down, according to Mordernghana.com.

In her own words, when Akua was asked whether she has ever indulged in any of such practices, she explained and questioned it, “Not at all; why would I take a bribe; for what? What is the reason behind me taking that bribe you are talking about?”
