Law firm pulls back from Trump's election suit in Pennsylvania

Donald Trump's hope of overturning the victory of projected US president-elect, Joe Biden, has suffered a huge setback as Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, a law firm representing the embattled president and his campaign in Pennsylvania, withdrew its legal service.
Trump has failed to concede defeat to his Democratic challenger after the 77-yer-old former vice president crossed the 270- threshold required for the presidency during the Tuesday, November 3 election in the US.
The president's legal team which Porter Wright Morris & Arthur was part of had filed a lawsuit challenging Biden's victory in some states where the projected president-elect won.
On Thursday, November 12, the law firm withdrew from a case filed on behalf of President Trump’s campaign, with the decision coming three days after the lawsuit was filed.

The lawsuit, which alleged irregularities in the voting process, was withdrawn in a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. No explanation was given for the shocking decision, NewYork Times reports.
“Plaintiffs and Porter Wright have reached a mutual agreement that Plaintiffs will be best served if Porter Wright withdraws, and current co-counsel and such other counsel as Plaintiffs may choose to engage represent Plaintiffs in this case."
Meanwhile, the state of Georgia in the United States of America is set to conduct a full by-hand recount of presidential ballots, its secretary of state has announced.
Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, said the margin in the tight presidential race between incumbent Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden who is leading was too close to call and as such a recount will determine the real winner.
The Georgia secretary of state's announcement came amid alleged vote-stealing claims from Trump and his allies who have declared the 45th US president "won" the election.
Biden leads Trump by about 14,000 votes in Georgia but the incumbent is unrelenting claiming there was rigging.
