Good Morning Britain's TV host Piers Morgan got into a heated argument with a female rights activist Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu live on TV.
During a debate segment concerning the damning Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Shola branded Piers a liar and disgrace for his criticism towards Meghan.
Piers, who's a known critic of Meghan, had even gone on social media labelling the hard-hitting piece "self-serving nonsense" and blasting Harry for letting it happen.
During the interview, Piers asked Shola about Harry and Meghan's behaviour towards the royal family, especially when Prince Philip is lying in hospital.
A stunned Shola found the comments insulting and called Piers a disappointment, adding he constantly uses his platform to aggravate sexism, racism and even being misogynistic.
"You are such a disappointment, I wish to God that one day you'd even surprise me. You constantly use your platform as a white privileged man with powered influence to aggravate and escalate sexist, racist and misogyny attacks. And you do it shamelessly," she argued.
She questioned if Philip being 99 and in hospital and the Queen at 94 meant they should not be called out for any wrongdoing.
Shola blasted Piers, saying him being "in love with the Queen" should not stop him from calling them out.
All this time, Piers could be heard shouting:
"What a load of nonsense, We have done more on racial issues on this show more than any other on television. I'm not going to let you trash the queen."
Well, for once, netizens felt the news anchor had found his match and celebrated Shola on social media for standing up for what she believed in.
In other related news, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Prince Harry was reportedly nicknamed "the hostage" by palace staff days before his royal wedding.
The moniker reportedly started after Meghan was upset about the tiara she was to wear at the wedding, not being loaned for her hair appointment.
A clash is said to have ensued between Angela Kelly (the Queen's closest aide), who told Harry that it was priceless and could not be availed on short notice.
Prince Harry was furious and shouted to the staff that whatever Meghan wanted should be provided.
Meghan reportedly wanted drama from the get-go and was constantly looking for reasons to say she had been disadvantaged.
