Legendary gospel musicians, Hannah Marfo, Helena Rhabbles, Abaawa Connie, and Diana Hopeson have left Ghanaians nostalgic after appearing on Nana Ama McBrown's United Showbiz.

The four, in addition to another gospel artiste Abena Serwaa Ophelia, appeared on McBrown's show on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

The show which had been dedicated to the recently held International Women's Day saw the legends talking about their journies as musicians.

Interspersed with the conversation were live band performances from each of the stars and they just thrilled Ghanaians.

With back-to-back hits, Abaawa Connie, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, Diana Hopeson, Helena Rhabbles, and Hannah Marfo got Ghanaians wanting more.

Below are some excerpts of their performances:

1. Abaawa Connie:

With over 40 years under her belt as a gospel musician, Abaawa Connie opened the performances as the senior and she did not disappoint.

2. Abena Serwaa Ophelia:

Formerly knows as Ophelia Nyantakyi, Abena Serwaa Ophelia also has some great hits including Mada Bo Shie which she performed on the night.

3. Diana Hopeson:

The former MUSIGHA president dished out some tunes from the 1990s.

4. Helena Rhabbles:

Often mistaken as a Nigerian for some of her lyrics, Helena Rhabbles turned the heat on with her performence.

5. Hannah Marfo:

Hannah Marfo delivered a performance of about 30 minutes giving back-to-back hits without showing any sign of tiredness.

The performances from the legendary gospel stars stirred nostalgia among Ghanaians on social media. Many who were watching took to Twitter to share their opinions.

In other news, actor Eddie Nartey's wife, Vida Nartey, has been laid to rest after a ceremony was held on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

The ceremony had Majid Michel, Gloria Sarfo, Salma Mumin, Beverly Afaglo, Roselyn Ngissah, James Gardiner, and many other movie stars attending.
