Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Joey B has stoked a frenzy online after this year's Hennessy Cypher was released.

Annually, Hennessy Cypher pits several rappers from across Africa. In the past, M.anifest and Sarkodie have represented Ghana.
Joey B's stint on the cypher this year marks the production's first-ever global edition.
The 2025 lineup is a blend of established and emerging talent from across the continent and beyond, including Nigeria's Blaqbonez, Tanzania's Jaivah and Kenya's Femi One.
The rapper known for his seamless flow and command over the hip-life genre left many fans excited with his stint on this year's edition.

Sarkodie hails Joey B after Hennessy cypher
Sarkodie is among several Ghanaian rappers who have reacted to Joey B's stint on the all-new Hennessy cypher.
The African rap icon took to social media to hail Joey B's effortlessly smooth flow, saying,
"Glide on em beat like it’s nothing 💨💨💨💨 Beezy 🇬🇭."
Joey B and Sarkodie have had a good working relationship spanning over a decade.
As a duo, the Ghanaian rappers are behind some of the most popular rap songs, including Tonga, released in 2014 and Cold.
