A reported close friend of Osanju has opened up about his final moments and his alleged cause of death following the TikToker’s tragic passing.

Popular Ghanaian TikToker, Osanju Frimpong Elvis, was reported dead on Monday, September 1, 2025.

According to reports, he was in a healthy and good mood on the night of Sunday, August 31, after watching a football game involving his beloved team, Barcelona.

Osanju's last video, shared after the game, showed him complaining about his unhappiness that Barcelona could only manage a 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano.

News of his reported death, coming mere hours after his last video, left Ghanaians on social media puzzled, with many questioning what might have led to his passing in such an abrupt manner.

Close friend shares details of Osanju’s death

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, a reported close friend of Osanju spoke about his final moments.

She said she had met him three days before his death and held his hand, but he complained that his hand was feeling heavy and painful.

Osanju reportedly said that it was due to his blood clotting because he did not have his medicine available.

The friend added that on Sunday, she and her brother invited Osanju to church but he refused to go. She said they also attempted to pray for him after her brother saw a terrifying vision about his future, but he turned it down and said he does not believe in such prophecies.

She added that she received a call from Osanju’s companion that he had been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in an ambulance, but unfortunately, he did not make it.
